The rules for using The Grab Method™ guide, our services, and this website. Read these before purchasing.
Scope
These Terms govern your use of thegrabmethod.com (the "Site"), our digital books, and the services we provide. The Site and products are operated by OYA Studio LLC, a Wyoming, USA limited liability company ("we", "us"). By purchasing a product, booking a service, or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site or buy our products.
License to use the books
When you buy a digital book (The Method or Method + Toolbox), we grant you a single-user, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the files for your own restaurant business. You may print one (1) copy for your own internal use. You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, share the files with other operators, post them on a shared drive, include them as part of a course or paid program, or use the content to train an AI model. The license is yours; the work stays ours.
Services: what each side provides
The Account Check-Up, the Account Renovation, the Account Setup, Account Care, the Account Re-Check and Website Creation & Strategy are services, not licensed files, and the book license above does not apply to them.
What you provide. For the Renovation and for Account Care, access to your Grab Merchant account. For the Setup, the Grab Merchant account itself: Grab requires your own identity, bank and business documents, so you create it and we build inside it. On every service that involves photographs, you supply them; we specify, prioritise and place them. Where a service ends in a decision list, the work that follows waits on your decisions.
What we provide. The scope you approved, in writing, before anything is charged. Delivery times run from the moment you have provided what the service needs, not from the moment you paid, and any approval that belongs to a delivery platform runs on that platform's own timetable.
What nobody provides. A result. As stated below, we do not guarantee any ranking, order volume or revenue outcome.
Purchases & refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise and exclude any local taxes that may apply on your side. Digital books come with a 30-day money-back guarantee, full terms are on the Refund Policy page. Services follow the separate refund rules described there. Buying a book gives you the current version plus any minor updates released during the next 12 months; major new editions may be sold separately.
Prohibited uses
When using the Site or any product, you agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source files behind the guide or Site.
- Scrape the Site, the guide, or any related material, including for the purpose of training AI or machine learning models.
- Repost, mirror, or republish our content on other websites, newsletters, or platforms.
- Use the content to build a competing guide, course, or directly derivative product.
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws or infringes the rights of others.
Intellectual property
All content on the Site and in the guides, text, design, layout, illustrations, frameworks, checklists, and the underlying method, is owned by OYA Studio LLC and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. "The Grab Method"™ is a trademark of OYA Studio LLC. "Grab" and "GrabFood" are trademarks of their respective owners; we are not affiliated with Grab Holdings Inc. Nothing on the Site grants you any right or license to our trademarks.
Liability disclaimer
The guides and services are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We share what has worked for restaurants we've worked with and observed, but we do not guarantee any specific business outcome, ranking, order volume, or revenue result, your results depend on your menu, market, operations, and execution. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Site, the guides, or our services is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved exclusively in the state courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes, anything that meaningfully changes your rights, will be noted on the Site. Continued use of the Site or our products after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
